MINUTES OF 2016 MEETINGS 

February 18, 2017

The meeting was called to order by Joe Glynn at 1:02 PM

Minutes of last meeting: The minutes of the December 16, 2016 meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer's Report: $20.00 was received at the holiday meeting for non-member dinners and $300.00 was paid out to the Johnson College Scholarship fund leaving the balance at $259.63

Old Business: There was no old business.

New Business: There was no new business.

Presentation: Mr. Frank Grundstein of Logitek Electronic Systems gave a presentation titled IP Protocols for Audio and Video - A Networking Update

The meeting was called to order by Pete Sakowski at 1:04 PM

Minutes of last meeting: The minutes of the February 18, 2017 meeting were approved as read.

Treasurer's Report: $201.80 was received by SBE Chapter Two for our annual chapter rebate giving us a balance at $461.43

Old Business: There was no old business.

New Business: Future meetings. We need three more meetings to get the minimum five meetings a year to qualify for the chapter rebate. It was decided to have an After Action Report of the EAS National Test coming up this month for the October meeting and Dan will give us a tour of the new Media Center at Wilkes University for the November meeting. These with the Holiday party meeting will give us the required five meetings a year.

Presentation: Al Kornak gave a demonstation of the JVC Wireless Bridge System used for steaming field production video over cellular networks.

Treasurer's Report: No transactions took place since the last meeting so the balance remains at $461.43

Old Business: There was no old business.

New Business: There was no new business.

Presentation: There was no formal presentation. Members present related how well the National Periodic Test of the Emergency Alert System did at their facilities.
